As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Supporting children across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Helping students access the National Curriculum in partnership with the Class Teacher.
- Managing and supporting children with challenging behaviour.
- Collaborating with the Primary School team to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging and nurturing students to reach their full potential.
Required Skills and Experience
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in education or childcare.
- Experience working with children in UK schools.
- Knowledge of SEND and strategies to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and the ability to assist in lessons effectively.
- A passion for supporting children's education and development.
